The Two-Stage Compressor Test Set is a mobile, self-contained apparatus designed to allow detailed study of single-stage, two-stage, and two-stage compressors with intercooling. It features two independently controlled, motor-driven, twin-cylinder, air-cooled reciprocating compressors, with electronic drives managing motor speed and torque measurement. An intercooler and air receiver enable different air flow configurations, while diverter valves allow air to move through the system in multiple ways. Instrumentation on an intuitive mimic panel provides real-time readings of electrical power, torque, and speed. The test set is designed for safe operation with interlocks and relief valves, and it can be enhanced with the optional Digital Pressure Indicator to record compression cycles accurately.
