TecQuipment Continuous Supersonic Wind Tunnel – AF302
The Supersonic Wind Tunnel replicates airflow at speeds exceeding Mach 1 for aerodynamic and flow dynamics investigation. Air is accelerated through specially shaped nozzles to generate supersonic conditions, enabling study of compressible flow phenomena such as shock waves and expansion fans. The system is intended for research, advanced instruction, and testing of models under high-speed conditions. Specialists can examine behaviour beyond subsonic limits, validate theoretical models of compressible flow, and analyze transitions in pressure, temperature, and density across varying flow regimes. Its design supports capturing data on complex aerodynamic effects under supersonic conditions.
