Emona TIMS Advanced Lab Teaching – TIMS 300 SERIES
The TIMS 300 Advanced Lab Teaching System is a versatile telecommunications trainer that brings together all necessary instruments to perform communications laboratory experiments. It uses a modular structure with a core system unit and plug-in modules to support a wide range of topics from basic analog circuits through modulation, coding, and DSP techniques. The system is appropriate for both technical college and university programs. Educators select modules matching their curriculum, and students configure experiments at block-diagram level. TIMS lets learners experience real hardware experiments without requiring a full bench of separate instruments.
SPECIFICATIONS
• Basic system comprises two hardware elements:
• TIMS-301 system unit, which includes fixed modules and a 12-slot upper rack for plug-in modules
• Plug-in module set containing single-function building blocks
• Over 50 additional functions available via advanced module set
• Some modules are DSP-based
• Optional built-in virtual instruments (oscilloscope, FFT) in TIMS-301C variant
• Networking capability via “TIMS Trunks” allowing master signals to up to 3 student systems
• Fully self-contained; only external oscilloscope is required
