TecQuipment Small Engine Test Set TD200

The Small Engine Test Set provides a flexible and fully instrumented platform to study the operation of single-cylinder, four-stroke internal combustion engines. Its portable bed includes a trunnion-mounted hydraulic dynamometer, which dissipates engine power through water without requiring large electrical supplies. The system allows safe and accurate mounting of engines with quick alignment using dowels and slots. Air flow measurement is facilitated via an air-box and orifice plate, while instrumentation is mounted separately to prevent vibration interference. The set is compatible with TecQuipment’s VDAS system, enabling real-time data capture, monitoring, and analysis on a computer. Optional engines, ancillaries, and engine cycle analysis tools extend the range of investigations.
