TecQuipment Rotating Fatigue Machine
The Rotating Fatigue Machine is a self-contained bench-mounted instructional system for demonstrating material failure resulting from alternating stresses. Based on the Wohler fatigue concept, the apparatus rotates a circular cantilever specimen carrying an end load to provide repeated cycles of stress. Students can readily observe both low-cycle and high-cycle fatigue behavior in the controlled environment. The variable-speed drive allows gradual adjustment in the cycle rate; built-in instrumentation provides a load, speed, and number-of-cycles display. The system automatically stops upon specimen fracture, preserving the results of the test. Its design supports clear, repeatable demonstrations of fatigue failure in common engineering materials.
