The Pressure Process Training System is an autonomous and transportable system designed for studying pressure as a controlled variable. The system enables students to examine the concepts of single-loop control and gain experience with the stability of the controller, thereby achieving an understanding of calibration and tuning. The Pressure Process Training System employs water as the process fluid and functions by controlling the fluid flow with the use of a pneumatic valve, which varies the pressure inside the accumulator by utilising the feedback received from a pressure transmitter. The system can be expanded by interfacing with other compatible systems of the same range.
