TecQuipment Ideal Gases – Boyle’s Law

The Ideal Gases – Boyle’s Law apparatus is a bench-top system designed to demonstrate the relationship between pressure and volume of an ideal gas at a constant temperature. It features two clear-walled cylinders containing oil, with hand-operated pumps that move a liquid piston to compress or expand air in the test cylinder. A digital indicator measures the change in air column height, allowing volume calculation, while a mechanical pressure gauge records air pressure. A thermocouple and digital display monitor air temperature to maintain constancy during tests and show temperature variations. The system can be used standalone or connected to TecQuipment’s VDAS® for real-time data acquisition, analysis, and charting.
