TecQuipment Flight Demonstration Wind Tunnel – AF41V
The Flight Demonstration Wind Tunnel is intended for demonstration purposes in class and for student experimentation work related to fixed-wing aircraft performance, takeoff, flight, and landing. The wind tunnel has an open circuit and consists of a model airplane suspended in its working section, which can move up and down through linkages that pivot around the quarter chord point, while airspeed control is provided by a control lever, enabling control of the model airplane via a digital fly-by-wire control column. The model airplane can be illuminated using light-emitting diodes, in addition to a large observation window to provide a clear view of the model airplane, while pitot pressure, lift, altitude, and tail plane angle are displayed digitally.
