TecQuipment Engine Speed Control Apparatus
Engine Speed Control Apparatus: This is an autonomous bench-level system designed for the examination of the control of the speed of rotating systems. This apparatus targets students at all levels of academia, dealing with concepts at both fundamental and advanced levels, such as non-linear system phenomena, inner-loop feedback, and others. In this apparatus, the scaled-down version of an engine runs on the principle of compressed air, which provides safety to the user. The speed of the engine can also be varied by the turning of an electric valve, along with the loading provided by the connected dc generator. This system models the dynamism of the normal compression ignition engine with the test bed.
