SMC Training MAS-200 Modular Assembly System
The MAS-200 is a modular training system that emulates a real industrial assembly process, incorporating the technologies demanded by today's automated industry. The complete system consists of five stations, four of which handle the feeding of individual components (base, bearing, shaft, and lid), while the fifth transfers and assembles all parts. Each station can operate autonomously or be integrated with others to form a complete manufacturing cell, and the assembly station can be configured for either pneumatic or robotic operation. All components used in the MAS-200 are drawn directly from industry, giving users detailed, hands-on knowledge of technologies currently used in automated manufacturing.
