Quanser QCar 2
The QCar 2 is an open-architecture, 1/10th scale autonomous research vehicle and the feature vehicle of the Self-Driving Car Studio, designed to elevate academic self-driving research, education, and outreach. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX and equipped with a comprehensive suite of inertial, visual, and ranging sensors, it supports research into self-driving stacks, machine vision and learning, traffic and fleet management, platooning, and city and highway maneuvering, either individually or as part of a fleet. Paired with a one-year QLabs Virtual QCar 2 subscription, it bridges physical and virtual environments through a digitally twinned cityscape, enabling researchers to validate algorithms and giving students the flexibility to develop and test before working with the physical car.
