TecQuipment Cooling Towers EC1000V
The Cooling Towers EC1000V is a bench-scale teaching apparatus for illustrating functional principles of an evaporative cooling tower. The apparatus consists of a hot water tank, pump, ducted fan, and integrated instrument panel, and comes with cooling towers that can be securely mounted on to the hot water tank. Heated water circulates at the top of the cooling tower and disperses via a spray nozzle and passes inside the packing material before finally returning to the hot water tank. Air moves counter-currently upwards to remove heat from hot water. Sensors positioned at key points measure airflow, water flow, humidity, pressure, and temperature, allowing students to fully observe and analyse evaporative cooling behaviour under adjustable operating conditions.
