TecQuipment Advanced Hydrology and Rainfall Apparatus
The Advanced Hydrology and Rainfall Apparatus is a self-contained teaching system designed for in-depth studies on hydrology from rainfall to surface runoff and the flow of water through terrestrial and fluvial systems. This is the updated model of its forerunner with onboard VDAS to improve data acquisition, and features an open rigid metal frame carrying a large stainless-steel catchment area and a reservoir tank. Learners can create a permeable catchment using granular media and change the slope to study the flow phenomena. Simulated rain is produced via the spray nozzles from above, while regulated drainage, wells, and measuring points allow detailed studies on water tables, runoff, and flow characteristics.
