Benchtop Heat Exchanger Service Module TD360

The Heat Exchanger Service Module is a self-contained, benchtop system that allows students to conduct hands-on tests and comparisons of compact heat exchangers. It supplies hot and cold water to the exchangers and monitors the performance using onboard flow meters and thermocouples. It provides a constant-temperature hot-water circuit using a PID electric heater, a pump, and safety features that maintain temperature and flow. The cold-water circuit incorporates a precision valve and flow meter. Large, clear digital displays show temperature and flow, and the unit can be used with or without VDAS Onboard software connecting to a host computer. VDAS software monitors the performance in real time and analyze logged data, including chart creation. This module provides students with a practical and safe method of exploring the fundamentals of heat transfer across various designs of exchangers. Specifications
